Create New External Virtual Switch in Hyper-V

  1. Launch Hyper-V Manager.
  2. In the Actions pane on the right, click on Virtual Switch Manager.
  3. Select New virtual network switch from the left sidebar.
  4. Choose External and click Create Virtual Switch.
  5. Enter a name for your virtual switch (e.g., Virtual Network).
  6. Select External network.
  7. Choose any available network adapter on your host PC from the dropdown list. This adapter will be used for network traffic between virtual machines and the external network.
  8. Click OK to create the virtual switch.
