Activate Windows

Windows Pro 8/8.1/10/11

1. Run Command Prompt/PowerShell/Terminal as Administrator.
2. Uninstall current activation key.
   • Uninstall product key:
     • slmgr.vbs /upk
       
   • Clear product key from the registry:
     • slmgr.vbs /cpky
       
   • Clear the Key Management Service (KMS) server address:
     • slmgr.vbs /ckms
       
3. Activate Windows
   • Install the new product key:
     • slmgr /ipk W269N-WFGWX-YVC9B-4J6C9-T83GX
       
   • Set the KMS server address:
     • slmgr /skms kms8.msguides.com
       
   • Activate Windows with the new key:
     • slmgr /ato
       
       

Windows Server 2016/2019/2022

1. Run Command Prompt/PowerShell/Terminal as Administrator.
2. Convert Windows Server Evaluation to retail edition
   • Get the available editions:
     • DISM /Online /Get-TargetEditions
       
   • Set your Windows Server to a higher edition:
     • DISM /online /Set-Edition:ServerDatacenter /ProductKey:WX4NM-KYWYW-QJJR4-XV3QB-6VM33 /AcceptEula
       
3. Activate Windows Server
   • Install the new product key:
     • slmgr /ipk WX4NM-KYWYW-QJJR4-XV3QB-6VM33
   • Set the KMS server address:
     • slmgr /skms kms8.msguides.com
       
   • Activate Windows with the new key:
     • slmgr /ato
